The first permanent colour photograph was taken in 1961 by a physicist James clark Maxwell. In colour photography colours are stored in a such a way that they do not fade. Autochrome was the first colour film inverted by lumière brothers. The film read the market in 1907. The film used for black and white photography is different from the film used in colour photography.
